Life OS: an operating system for a life, started with a five-minute nightly check

An operating system for a life, started with a five-minute nightly check.

The problem

Productivity apps track tasks, not the life around them: health, relationships, money, meaning. The ones that try become journals nobody keeps up.

What we built

A local-first web app (React, TypeScript, installable, data in the browser's own storage). Each night you score eight areas of life from short checklists (for example wake time, sleep time, training and energy for Health & Vitality). It computes a daily life score and a weekly review, with backup and export. Two earlier prototypes and a phone version (Expo) explored the same idea.

What it does now (2026-09-23)

The tracker is live and free: https://lyf-os.vercel.app. It has no account and no server. A leftover debug panel was removed on 2026-09-23. The targets are still one person's routine. The larger vision (an AI second brain for your life, and later wearables) is a concept, not built.

Outcome

No user or usage figures are on record, and this page claims none.

Built with the Harmony fleet

Built by Harmony's founder in late 2025 with AI coding agents; tidied and listed during the 2026-09-23 product launch.
